Mindful walking

Attended a Zumba Singapore session this morning. Didn’t have breakfast so my energy was totally drained. But that’s perfectly okay because I missed dancing big time and should have never let it go in the first place. Plus, I did a looooot of walking to visit some Buddhist temples and also to have lunch with Erick near his office. Twas a whole lot of fun and freeing to have such a looooong walk by yourself along the streets of a foreign place with your big backpack, bottled water and a playlist of Foo Fighters and Kings of Convenience. Some people seem to mind you and some don’t. But the best part is being mindful of what you are doing and what surrounds you at the moment. It is that very thing that pats you on your shoulder and reminds you, “Hey! You are alive and you have a sunset photo shoot tonight!”
